Flyology transcends to be the study or exploration of what it means to be "fly" ~ manifests a sense of confidence, uniqueness, and style. It combines the concept of "ology" (the study of something) with "fly," which is often used to describe someone who is stylish, cool, and self-assured.

About our Founder:

The FLYOLOGY story is deeply personal. Growing up in a small town, Columbia, Mississippi, I faced challenges attending an all-white school, despite the obstacles, I was determined to suceed, my Daddy, of course, had concerns about my safety, as in those days, justice was unfair due to color of our skin. 

Being the only black child at school, my Daddy often called me a 'fly in a bowl of buttermilk'. Now, looking back to my primary school days, as well as my professional career days, I was that 'fly',  I now believe my Daddy saw something different in me. I now see myself not as a mere 'fly in a bowl of buttermilk' but as a radiant beacon of possibility, a representation of strength and optimism in difficult circumstances.

Throughout my journey, I encountered emotional, spiritual, financial, and motivational hurdles. My Daddy's belief in me remained rock-solid. FLYOLOGY finds its inspiration in the nickname, truly symbolizes resilience and self-discovery, reminding me of the twists and turns of my life. So, when life knocks you down, dust yourself off and take flight again. Alopecia is built into my life. FLYOLOGY is all about self-love, unity, and awareness, sharing from my soul to enrich other's lives.
